/24-7PressRelease/ This November, Austin Self Defense located in North Austin/Cedar Park near Lakeline Mall will be hosting four separate back-to-back unique martial arts training seminars from three of the top martial arts instructors in the world. Austin Self Defense will be hosting Mike Lee Kanarek, Founder Of Haganah, Avi Moyal, Chairman of the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF) and an elite Counter Terrorism Specialist from the Israeli Counter Terrorism unit Duvdevan.

Mike Lee Kanarek, founder and chief instructor of the Israeli self defense system Haganah, will be teaching a 3-hour seminar on November 12th. Mr. Kanarek will be covering 3rd party protection techniques, multiple attacker scenarios and extreme violence scenarios to better equip everybody with the skills necessary to survive a deadly attack on themselves or a 3rd person/family member.

Austin Self Defense will be offering Israeli Professional Tactical Training (PTT) on November 13th. IPTT is a Haganah course teaching Israeli Combat Shooting. This course will give you the foundation needed to build on and learn the "Lotar" Counter-Terrorism method using a semi automatic hand-gun as it is currently being taught to the Duvdevan Special Forces Unit in Israel. IPTT will be taught by an elite counter terrorism specialist from the Duvdevan Special Forces unit.

Avi Moyal, founder and chief instructor of the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF), will be teaching two separate 3-hour seminars at Austin Self Defense on both November 29th & 30th.
Open enrollment for the 4 events is now underway and is open to the public. Reserve your spot for one or all the events with either cash or check. These seminars are open the public and only to individuals 18 years of age and older except by special permission from ASD. Enrollment is limited and is open on a first come, first serve basis. Events start promptly so make sure to arrive early.
The location for these self defense seminars will be at Austin Self Defense, 12617 Ridgeline Blvd at Lakeline Mall, Cedar Park, TX 78613.

About Mike Lee Kanarek, Instructor:
Mr. Kanarek served in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) as part of the Orev Golani Special Forces Brigade operating in south Lebanon. Mr. Kanarek moved to the United States and many years later started his own system, based upon the skills he learned in the IDF and the skills he acquired in his 20-yr martial arts career, and called it HAGANAH. The Haganah system is comprised of 7 segments - FIGHT, Israeli Tactical Knife (ITK), Israeli Combat Shooting (ICS), Israeli Professional Tactical Training (IPTT), Ground Survival, Combat Wrestling & Combat Fitness.
About Avi Moyal, Instructor:
Avi Moyal trained directly under the creator of the Krav Maga system, Imi Lichtenfeld. Avi currently serves as the Chairman of the IKMF. In 1985, Avi received a Masters level in Krav Maga and joined the IDF Marines. Avi completed his Officers training with excellence, and served as a Platoon Commander in a Terror Demolition Unit. He acquired many combat hours and experience while commanding subordinates on special operations in Lebanon including highly specialized missions behind enemy lines with various SWAT units. He also provided VIP protection for a high ranking IDF General and an intelligence officer. After active duty, Avi served as a Reserves Platoon Commander in a special operations unit.
