Cindie Miller Honored by Cambridge Who's Who

LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ, September 08, 2010 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Cindie Miller, Writer and Teacher for the Parker Unified School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education and creative writing.

"I'm an agent for the CIA," Victor Charles Brian tells young Stephani Stevenson. "You'll never have a normal life. You'll have to make many sacrifices. You can never tell anyone the truth. And you can never ask any questions." So reads an excerpt from Cindie Miller's latest novel, "Ask Me No Questions." Based upon her life experiences with a man who claimed to be a secret government agent, "Ask Me No Questions" follows young Stephani Stevenson as she struggles to escape from domestic violence during an era when women's shelters and counselors are virtually nonexistent.

Inspired by her past, Ms. Miller is a speaker on the topic of domestic abuse. Today, she draws upon her prior experience as a journalist, editor and publisher to speak and teach at the Parker Unified School District. In addition to teaching literature, writing and drama classes, she dedicates her time to speak to various groups on the issue of violence. She is distinguished for her contributions to the field of victim advocacy and will seek to lecture in university settings as she moves forward.

Ms. Miller is currently pursuing a master's degree in creative writing from The University of the South. She holds bachelor of arts degree in English and creative writing from Eastern Washington University, as well as a secondary certification in English and language arts.
