Mission for St. Francis Raffles Luxury Home to Raise Funds

In an attempt to make a dramatic difference in its fund raising efforts, the Mission of St. Francis (www.missionraffle.com) has launched a raffle campaign for a luxury home in Fort Lauderdale. A friend of the Mission donated his home to the cause when several attempts of his own to sell it in the down market failed.

The Mission helps addicts, homeless, destitute men find Christ and get back to their families and lives. It has been serving for well over 35 years. The proceeds all go to The Mission's work.

The Mission asks that people help spread this word and send information on the raffle far and wide to people whom they know and trust. "On a limited budget we are trying to spread the word and teach the Word, and we need every hand we can get," LaBarga said.

About the Mission:

The Mission was a God given vision 40 years ago. God wanted to have His own place to minister to individuals suffering from addictions. These individuals were not only emotionally and physically bankrupt but spiritually empty. It has always placed an emphasis on the spiritual aspect of the 12-step program. Understanding that without God a man will never have peace. The Mission always stands for integrity, believing that we must rely on God for our financial support and our complete guidance. The men it serves are required to get a job immediately rather than applying for government assistance. By going this route a man learns to trust God very early in the program, while his self-esteem grows.
