Top Holiday Card Manufacturer, Pear Tree Greetings, Announces Kids' Halloween Photo Contest

NORTH MANKATO, MN, October 25, 2010 /EIN Presswire/ -- Every October, parents get the joy of dressing their children in the most adorable, scariest, or even insanely clever costumes. And now it's time for both the kids and the parents to show them off.

Pear Tree Greetings, a top manufacturer of personalized cards including birth announcements and holiday card designs, is hosting a 'Boo-tiful Halloween Contest'. The contest not only proudly displays a child's best costume, but also gives contestants a chance to win prizes.

"Halloween is a holiday that allows for personality to shine when it comes to creating costumes," said Liwanag Ojala, president, Pear Tree Greetings. "And personality is what Pear Tree Greetings values most, as we create unique, trendy and personalized stationery every day. It was natural for us to put together a Halloween photo contest. Parents can show off their kids' best costumes and voters can look through photos from the most adorable to the spookiest outfits."

The displaying and viewing of Halloween costumes isn't the only attraction - contestants have a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card or credit towards Christmas cards from Pear Tree Greetings.

To partake in the Boo-tiful Halloween photo contest, parents simply need to submit the best picture of their child wearing a Halloween costume to contests@peartreegreetings.com by Oct. 23. After sifting through the entries, Pear Tree Greetings will select the top ten best pictures and post them on the Pear Tree Greetings blog from Oct. 24 through Oct. 30, where readers and contestants can vote for their favorite by leaving a comment on the post. Lobbying friends and family to vote is permitted!
